Speed the Way to A Cure!!
The "Speed the Way to a Cure" Arthritis Walk® is the Arthritis Foundation Delaware Branch’s annual event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis in Delaware, the nation’s leading cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 185,000 men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis, 46 million nationally. Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one including your family pet with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
At the Event…- Choose from a three-mile, two-mile, or one-mile walk at the Dover International Speedway - "The Monster Mile"
- Horizon Services, this year's Fun Partner, has brought to the event Fast Action Motorsports Entertainment!! Due to the Horizon Service's generosity, F.A.M.E will be there to provide their best package of fun to the participants of the "Speed the Way to a Cure Arthritis Walk": A 16’ x 24’ high-banked oval race track with six full-size steering consoles and six custom designed 1/10 scale radio-controlled stock cars will be on hand, along with their tire change challenge and race car simulator.

- Enjoy the exciting activities for the whole family!
Set your goal to earn one of these two great prizes incentives!So, do you have a need for speed?? This incentive will help fuel it!- As an individual raise $500 and win a 4 lap trip as a passenger in a Monster Racing race car!
- Or raise $1,500 and drive a Monster Racing race car! (Must be at least 14 years old to ride and at least 18 years old with a vaid driver's licence to drive.)
